Shooting with DVSN

If you’re interested in shooting with me, please use the contact form or send an email to

Once you get in contact it helps to give me a short description of the style of shoot you’re looking for. Please indicate what date you’re planning and the location if you have decided.

A typical shoot session is between 2 to 3 hours. In that time you’ll be able to shoot between 4 to 6 different outfits or looks.

When it comes to choosing a location I highly recomend choosing a bright, clean space if possible. This will greatly impact the look of the images from your shoot. If you can’t decide between a few options, I’m happy to provide guidance where needed.

Preparing for your shoot

I’ve put together a list of some things you can do to prepare for your shoot. They might be obvious but they make a big difference to the outcome of your session.

  • Please be on time. I may not be able to extend your session and you will enjoy the shoot a lot more if you don’t have to rush into it.
  • On the day of your shoot, avoid wearing any tight fitting clothes an hour before your shoot begins. This will minimise any visible marks on your skin.
  • Make sure you get a good night sleep and don’t show up with a hangover.
  • If you have booked a hair and makeup artist, be sure you allow enough time to give you some breathing room before your shoot begins.
  • Spend some time looking at inspiration for ideas. I have put together an inspiration gallery if this is something you would like access to.

After your shoot

You’ll receive a private proofing gallery within 72 hours of your session. From there you can pick your favourites to be retouched.

The retouched images will be sent back to you within 2 to 4 weeks after you’ve finished selecting the images.

Should your session be cancelled due to circumstances beyond my control, such as weather events or travel restrictions, I cannot be held liable for any costs associated with your shoot.
